Overview - General Form:
After speaking with many folks about this subject and tons of research, we have
realized that there may be many ways of accomplishing encapsulation of your
being. However, continuing to be pragmatic and looking at current technologies in robotics and prosthetics as well as AI
technologies being implemented through the various projects mentioned on this
website, I have concluded that the general form would be similar to our current
structure. There are several reasons for this. First, one of the major goals
of the space program is to challenge current technologies that are ultimately
useful for broader society. Second, everything in our society is relative to
our current structure and capabilities. Third, our perceptions are based on
the preceding. Fourth, these technologies are radical enough without introducing
visual shocks. Fifth, our current structure is a comfortable aid in orientation
(down, up, left, right, etc.). Lastly, you could coexist in several worlds.

Emotions:
Throughout this website I discuss the sixth sense, the seventh sense,
extra sensory perception, the nuclear force, etc. Emotions and body
language are simply a visual que to the preceding. Though these forces
likely exist in several ways, we are still a very visual people and
so the endeavor in artificial intelligence systems will probably continue
to embrace emotions as part of the total package.

Quantum Neurology:
My understanding is that the human mind contains trillions of neuronetworks
that are essentially electrochemical transceivers. If you want to understand
more about quantum theory, quantum computing, and computing technology,
please visit these sections. For this section and for brevity, I will
only say that I believe we are matching and surpassing our individual
abilities with respect to computing potential. If you don't believe
me, go read a couple hundred books on computing theory and quantum theory
and some scientific journals as well.
|
Quantum Helmets:
This idea was proposed to me by a loose affiliate. At the time, we were
discussing mass acceleration and quantum entanglement. Based on the
topic of discussion, I assumed he dangled this helmet as an information
portation device. After some personal contemplation, I decided that
there could be many uses for such a device and that similar substandard
head gear are already in use such by aviators as display and information
units. As far as quantum portation goes, such a device would be considered
strictly as a form of elaborate information processing. Why elaborate?
Our ability at destructing and constructing informational matter has
not fully matured.
|
Clones:
If you are following the trends with modern and pragmatic technology,
clones are only a way of saying copy. When you save data to a storage
device on your computer, you have cloned that data. So then, our computing
experts are working on quantum computers with potentially matched capabilities
of the human mind (at least in complexity and speed). We have other
experts working on prosthetics and robotics. If we take a modular engineering
approach, you have top down control of self, only in a new format. By
having an information clone, you back up your very own information and
systems processes dynamically.
|
Robotics and Parts:
We have already made tremendous progress with translational robotics.
Many surgeons use this technology to aid in precision. Of course, you
will find all kinds of CAM robotics at assembly plants that are translational
(data to parts and data to assembly) as well as mechanized systems.
Like any engineering feat, translational robotics has several approaches
and solutions. In a situation of prosthetics, body parts, or bodies,
one aim might be optimizations of materials that have properties exceeding
existing limits. At around $10,000,000.00 for a NASA spacesuit, I have
again found investment money that could be better used. By employing
more extreme ideas into a program such as humanoid technology development,
you eliminate the need for a spacesuit, oxygen, temperature regulation,
complex life support, diet, weight, water, fitness, air locks, etc.
Throughout this website, I have uncovered hundreds of billions of dollars
in the big ticket items of Marine, Geology, Aerospace, and National
Defense and all have shown interest in these technologies. Of course,
the private market is nothing to sneeze at including hundreds of billions
of dollars in many forms of entertainment including tourism and add
additional hundreds of billions more to health. That is a big piece
of the union budget and GDP which combines to several trillion dollars.
|
EMS - Polymers and Alloys:
So then, our computing technology is exceeding individual capability
(see quantum computing, computing theory, and projects). Some of the
other research that holds promise in robotics and medical technology
is in the area of polymer elastics. There are current attempts at mimicking
muscle behavior using synthetics. This technology is already available
in many gauges, sensors, and switches. Key research underway is to integrate
these technologies into simpler and effective mechanics with little
wear. By using advanced materials, we can effectively simulate all 3D
motion and rotation. Other breakthroughs have been in cochlear implants
(hearing) and sight. In my theoretical model, I include translational
inertial devices for sense of motion and I shift this device from the
norm to be less sensitive to inertial motion and invertigo (balance).
I believe visual perception could be enough. Additional breakthroughs
in audio are found in the digitizing and compression techniques used
in the music industry. Clear audio can be distinguished in a much more
narrow range than what the human ear processes. Theoretically, with
current technology, you could increase data throughput for essential
processes and minimize the processing required to operate mechanics
as well as the physical senses.
|
Energy:
I devote an entire section on this website to energy. I will briefly discuss
here some energy concepts directly related to our theoretical humanoid robot
as well as practical energy solutions. First, it important to remember the laws
of conservation of energy. Keeping this in mind, our space humanoid will not
need exercise, will not have to consume vast amounts of food, will not excrete
vast amounts of waste, will not need oxygen or atmosphere, will not need to
scrub the air, will not need a suit for space walks, will not need air conditioning,
and will not need water. Only electricity will be needed. I discuss the Cyclosynchronous
Cell as one possibility under the energy section. This operates with the knowledge
that energy is inherent in matter. With knowledge that energy is inherent in
matter, we would like to harness it and transmit it using the inherent forces
as properties of that matter with little or no breakdown. This approaches the
ideals of perpetual energy and motion.
